Toni Tennille! Why is she named after Toni Tennille from the pop duo group of the 70s The Captain and Tennille? Because as she gets to know you, she will actually try to make talking sounds and it is like she is trying to sing to win your heart. Toni has had some rough times. She was abandoned in a basement of a house when her owner moved away. The neighbor heard her howling after several days of being left completely alone. She was flea infested and part of her back has been shaved. But with loving attention and care, she is feeling much better now. She is a petite medium size Australian Cattle dog mix dog of about 45 lbs. This is one sweet dog. She was on antibiotics and steroids as we are trying to encourage her hair on her back to grow that was lost due to the flea infestation. She also needs medicated shampoo. Toni's hair is beginning to grow back. She gets a tablespoon of canola oil every day which has been helping her coat to stay strong and shiny!
